The U.S. Army required a high-fidelity device to control UGVs and provide soldiers with fire control for the remote weapons station.
Product Design, Development & In-House Prototyping
- Identified suitable materials and established down select criteria for prototyping and scale up quantities
- Created commercial quality proof of principle and validated fit and function
- All components were made from solid models with model-based definition
Result:
A complete assembly was provided to the customer within the original schedule despite an amended and increased scope of work. Solider touch points provided positive feedback from the engineering team and user community.
