JAKTOOL was contracted to develop a rocket thrust fixture for the evaluation of energetic materials.
Electro-Mechanical Development & Support
- 4 interchangeable nozzle geometries/sizes to control thrust and internal pressure
- Removable/replaceable combustion chamber allows multiple tests with minimal setup time
- Electrical isolation of load cell and PCB pressure transducer
- 12 interchangeable nozzle closures to control pressure and timing of ignition
Result:
By working with the team, JAKTOOL successfully redesigned and prototyped the test fixture based on customer specifications and feedback of previous designs.
