Herman Richards

Quality Assurance Manager

Herman is the quality manager for JAKTOOL.  Herman leads the quality department ensuring all project requirements are met and investing and training the team on the latest metrology equipment.

Herman brings with him 40 years of manufacturing and quality experience with roles spanning from journeyman machinist, to tool and die maker, and shop foreman.  His manufacturing knowledge is fed into inspection plans as he has an innate understanding of how manufacturing steps effect inspection methods.

Ryan Hollywood

Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Ryan is the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and leads JAKTOOL’s in-house prototype efforts.   Ryan’s background in mechanical engineering and mathematics coupled with his hands on approach is vital to streamlining the development cycle.  Ryan leads our team of in-house manufacturing engineers who are adept in state of the art prototype technologies.

While at Rutgers University earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Ryan earned the Rutgers University Quality Manufacturing Award for Senior Design.

Adrial Kirchen

Engineering Manager

Adrial Kirchen is the Engineering Manager for JAKTOOL.  Adrial leads the engineering department, supporting internal and external prototype development efforts,  which is responsible for creating new enabling technologies across all business sectors.

Previously, Adrial worked as a Senior Engineer for Sikorsky Aircraft for 10 years. Throughout his career at Sikorsky, he worked as part of a small team to design and analyze the new and innovative Rotor System for the CH-53K. In addition to this, he was the lead of the multifaceted CH-53K Blade Fold System Team. The CH-53K is the largest heavy lift helicopter in the western world.

Adrial holds a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University.

Adrial holds numerous patents in the Aerospace industry.

Cristy Richards

President / COO

Cristy Richards the President and COO for JAKTOOL and leads the quality and procurement departments.   In the two years that Cristy has been with JAKTOOL, she has matured the quality system to earn ISO certification and has implemented ERP to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.

Before joining JAKTOOL, Cristy worked for both academic and large corporations supporting biologics and medical devices.  Team oriented and with the desire to mentor, Cristy has led multidisciplinary teams as the Product Development Engineering Manager for Osteotech, Inc. and also has served as a Principal Sourcing Engineer for Medtronic Spine and Biologics, responsible for acquisitions of 1M+.

Cristy holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.B.A.,  and is credited on numerous patents in the medical device industry.

Jeff Kinsberg

President / CEO

Jeff Kinsberg is the President and CEO of JAKTOOL.  Founded by Jeff in 1994, the earliest traces of the business are rooted in the model and hobby industry as a result of Jeff’s interest in transportation.  Jeff’s guidance and leadership have grown JAKTOOL to a team of 20 occupying a state of the art prototype development center in the heart of the Northeast.  Jeff is actively involved in all areas of the business, and all project phases.   Equally comfortable leading project teams supporting novel consumer healthcare products to improve our quality of life or next generation technology for the US serviceman to ensure operational over match, Jeff loves to get his hands dirty.

While at Rutgers University earning an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, Jeff was employed as a student manufacturing engineer for the Industrial Engineering Department on National Science Foundation funded projects concentrated on novel manufacturing process development. Jeff participated and led Rutgers Formula Racing as an undergraduate. Jeff continues to mentor these students as well as provide internship opportunities though JAKTOOL.  Jeff serves on the Rutgers University Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Executive Industry Advisory Board.
