Automatic Model Train Cleaning Facility

The LOCO-MAT is the latest product from JAK Tool & Model LLC.  The LOCO-MAT is an automatic model train cleaning facility that is designed to be mounted on your model train layout.  The LOCO-MAT can be incorporated into your maintenance yard and modeled into a prototypical railroad structure (Available soon in a prototypical building). It can also be located within a mountain or any other large structure on your layout.

The LOCO-MAT has an electronic sensor that is contained within it such that when it detects the presence of a train coming through and a blast of air is automatically released thus cleansing the train of dust and any loose debris to help keep your trains clean; no more manual brushing down of dust off of the cars, and you certainly never have to put your boxcar in the kitchen sink anymore!

Your LOCO-MAT is very simple to operate.  A transformer is supplied with the LOCO-MAT to supply power to the electronics.  The transformer will plug into any standard 120V AC wall outlet.  The second connection you need to hook up is to an air compressor to supply the compressed air.  The LOCO-MAT is supplied with a 1/4" SAE male standard quick connect air fitting.  You can pickup the 1/4" female air fitting at any home center or you can purchase one with your LOCO-MAT order.

To operate the LOCO-MAT you will need an air compressor.  Below is a link to an air compressor that is small and works well with the unit.  We have used this unit with the LOCO-MAT when it is on display.  JAK Tool & Model LLC is not responsible for this air compressor, it is only providing this link for reference.  Air Compressor
